Old Chang Kee has its humble beginnings in 1956 in a small stall in a coffee shop near the then Rex Cinema along Mackenzie Road. People from every corner of Singapore would travel to this stall to savour the perfect curry puff, then known affectionately as the “Rex Curry Puff”. From a single hawker, Old Chang Kee has grown to more than 100 outlets with a brand presence in most shopping malls, train stations, and petrol kiosks. It is also the only kiosk operator to be listed in Singapore.

Our mission is to deliver superior quality hot finger food and ready meals at a value-for-money price positioning, in a clean and friendly retail environment.

Old Chang Kee kiosks offer a range of popular finger food items from chicken wings to fishballs and taro pies, next to our selection of curry puffs. With outlets location at convenient and high traffic locations islandwide, if forms Old Chang Kee’s core business. Every Old Chang Kee curry puff is painstakingly prepared to create the flawless flavour and texture that Singaporeans have lover over the last 50 years.

Today, with modernised standards and processes and recipes improved over the years by vigorous studies of curry and spices, the Curry’O continues to propel Old Chang Kee to unprecedented heights.

Curry Times is Old Chang Kee’s first curry-themed restaurant in Singapore providing consumers and families the promise of wholesome home-cooked inspired meals. The store concept is designed to create a homely, nostalgic atmosphere, reviving memories of the “good old days”.

What is so special about our curry? Masterfully prepared with all the passion and traditional ways the gave our curry puff its reputation today. Our signature curry is filled with fresh, succulent chicken and a spicy rich broth simmered to fragrant perfection. There is no coconut milk and is healthier.

Our 2-in-1 Concept
Recognising the appeal of Old Chang Kee and Curry Times, we launched a 2-in-1 concept to leverage on each brand’s delicious products and optimise productivity and manpower. While both brands are placed together, each has its own distinct to ensure customers clearly differentiate their value and proposition.

In a short period of time, the concept has proven to be successful and effective to meet the different needs of customers during the day. In one single location, one can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or grab a snack on the go.
